I am hoping this will help me capture some more candid moments for Project 365. I love my Canon DSLR (400D) but it isn't exactly unobtrusive or easy to carry in my pocket!

I love my little P&S. I have considered upgrading to a DSLR, but I agree that it’s not exactly unobtrusive. I just through my P&S in my purse in the mornings and I have it with me for all those special moments! I hope you have fun with your new toy!!

ReplyDeleteI know what you mean. The DSLR is for in the house or outdoor trips, but the Point & shoot I keep in my purse with me all day long...you never know when there is a great moment to capture.
ReplyDeleteI, too, felt the need to buy a little camera that is always in my purse! But I am always so upset by the shutter lag.....however, on the other hand, I have gotten some fabulous pictures with it.....it going off long after I had shot it, getting a much better action picture than I thought I was getting!
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile....I am now getting the 40D and so excited. I bought a new camera bag from Best Buy that looks like a black purse, so I'm hoping I'll be taking my camera to more places!

ReplyDeleteI've a Fuji Finepix S7000 which is about as old as dirt. I'd love something like that. I agree it would definitely make it easier to get some candid shots, especially of Toots, she moves far too fast for my big ol thing.

ReplyDeleteOh I so agree, I want to get a point and shoot, so that it can live in my handbag! Lugging around the SLR isnt always helpful! Like today I would have loved to have one with me, we found a new playground! Oh well :)
